In 2013, Monitise hired Nick Morris from the NEF Class of 2013.
Nick Morris joined the NEF programme to fast-track his entrepreneurial learning. Nick is the Founder and MD of two small successful business: the first, XVS, is a volunteering platform designed to make it as simple as possible for volunteers and charities to seek each other out. Currently deployed and sold into the higher education market, it has already helped thousands of young people and charities, facilitating over 120,000 hours of volunteering to date. His second business is XTS Pro, an online ticketing and box office management platform currently used by numerous arts organisations around the country. It has processed over £110,000 of online sales and 80,000 on-site ticket purchases since launch. Nick is also the Managing Director of the RicNic Trust, an award-winning social enterprise which encourages young people to pursue the creative arts, currently with 3 branches around the UK.
At Monitise, Nick was given the opportunity to work on projects ranging from multi-million pound deals to working with a world-leading expert in his field to help set up a new business.

While at Monitise, Nick was given the opportunity to work with a leading expert in the field of biomimetics, helping formulate and construct a business plan and investment strategy for a new venture in this field, which was then used to secure a major first round of investment.
At the end of his placement term at Monitise, Nick was invited to join the new venture, Lifescaped, where he currently works.
