Energy start-up Hometree, founded by NEFer Simon Phelan (Class of 2012), has raised £2.9m from a funding round featuring a series of top investors.
Simon was on the NEF Class of 2012 (the first cohort to go through the programme) where he worked at Better Capital LLP.

Investors in the current round include some of the UK’s biggest technology investors, including Saul Klein’s LocalGlobe and DN Capital.
