The Financial Times recently featured entrepreneur and NEF supporter Jenny Campbell to discuss how she created a multi-million pound business, joining the new series of Dragons Den, and the work she does in the UK entrepreneurship community.
Jenny Campbell, has been involved with NEF since our second cohort of entrepreneurs in 2013. A strong supporter of the charity she has been a keynote speaker at our Speaker Series events and has also been an NEF Host, offering a paid entrepreneurship placement to two Class of 2013 NEFers (Corbyn Munnik and Jack Elton) at YourCash.
Jenny has a professional career spanning both corporate and entrepreneurship sectors. After working for RBS for 32 year, she purchased YourCash in 2010 and expanded the business to more than £30m annual turnover with over 5,000 ATMs in operation. In October 2016, Campbell exited the business as part of a management buy-out to payment transaction firm Euronet Worldwide Inc.
She states in the article:
“I support the New Entrepreneurs Foundation, and employed two of their apprentices for a year in 2012. They have both since created their own businesses, one in manufacturing, the other in the technology sector.”
