Sharmadean Reid MBE – Founder of WAH Nails & futuregirlcorp
During her second year at Central St. Martins, Sharmadean started a fanzine for street, smart young women and WAH was born. It has since evolved in WAH Nails, a nail salon of the future that was instrumental in launching nail art as the beauty trend from the last 5 years. In 2014, she partnered with Walgreens Boots Alliance to create the nail polish range WAH London and has since written 2 books.
In 2016 she also launched futuregirlcorp: free meetup events for future female CEO’s in London.
EJ-Packe – Managing Director of Prelude Group
EJ is the Managing Director of Prelude Group; the company championing enterprise in the UK through their influential membership clubs. In 2016 she was the Gold Stevie Winner – Management Team of the Year and was a finalist at the National Business Awards for Business Enabler of the Year.
EJ has also been a judge for the National Business Awards and a judge on The Pitch.
Co-founder & Director of Smith & Sinclair
Melanie, and her co-founder Emile Bernard, launched Smith & Sinclair, a cocktail confectionery brand in 2013 when they realised there was a gap in the market for grown-up sweets. Prior to S&S, Melanie had been collecting an eclectic mix of skills from roles in marketing, fundraising, project management and publishing to name a few.

Bec, NEF Class of 2014, is passionate about disruptive, tech-enabled business models. She has a background in media and entertainment, and currently works in strategy and business development for Disney’s first direct-to-consumer streaming service DisneyLife, having also previously worked at The Guardian. She is also an NEF Alumni Council member, which suits her natural need states of socialising and compulsive organisation.
